Dr Hale’s PhD thesis focused on the hormonal dynamics of midlife and perimenopausal women. She has painstakingly converted this important and ground-breaking information to a resource book for the everyday woman. This book has been a long time coming, and she has now started the process of editing and publishing it – she is aiming to have it available in late 2022.
Dr Hale’s women’s health consultations are unique in that they lead all patients to a better understanding of how the changes in their hormones and physical bodies underlie their complaints. Using carefully selected investigations and thorough reviews of these investigations, Dr Hale devises uniquely personalized management strategies to suit each individual patient. These strategies include specific diet advice, gut health education, stress management modalities, up-to-date exercise suggestions and tailored treatments including, medications, hormones and supplements.
